Sharon Thandi, Solicitor in our Banking, Governance & Corporate team, has been shortlisted for ‘Solicitor of the Year’!
The Awards recognise the remarkable legal talent within the Midlands. This Solicitor of the Year award celebrates individuals who have consistently demonstrated outstanding performance in their role as a qualified solicitor and who have made a significant contribution both within their firm and more widely within the legal sector and Birmingham legal community.
Sharon’s shortlisting recognises her commitment to serve her clients and local community and make a positive contribution to the reputation of solicitors and the legal profession. She is an active member of the Birmingham Law Society Equality Diversity and Inclusion Committee and feels passionately about improving access to the legal profession and inclusivity in the sectors she works in.
The finalists were selected by a panel of experienced, independent judges brought together from the world of law, business, and academia, and will undergo a further interview process in the weeks to come. The winners will be announced on Thursday 9th March at the Birmingham Law Society Awards event, the full list of finalists and categories can be found here (see page 8 of the bulletin).
We at Devonshires are incredibly proud of Sharon for her achievements and being shortlisted and wish her the very best of luck for the final. Well done Sharon!
