Areas of Expertise

Avary is an Associate in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team. She assists on a wide range of matters involving litigation and dispute resolution, including in relation to contractual disputes and termination, debt recovery, defamation, fraud, judicial review and professional negligence.

Avary acts for a variety of clients including companies, high net worth individuals, public sector service providers and registered providers of social housing.


Experience

Prior to Devonshires, Avary worked in the Commercial Litigation team at one of the leading full-service commercial law firms in New Zealand.


Education

University of Auckland – LLB (Hons), BCom majoring in Management and Marketing


Personal

Avary enjoys travelling (especially going back home to the Cook Islands) and going to the theatre and concerts. Avary is also a proud supporter of the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL.
