InLaws – SRA Guidance for In-House Lawyers

InLaws – SRA Guidance for In-House Lawyers

In-house lawyers face unique challenges when applying their regulatory obligations compared with private practice. The Solicitors Regulation Authority has recognised this and recently had a particular focus on this area, culminating in the publication of specific guidance for in-house lawyers at the end of 2024. This webinar will explain what the regulator expects of in-house teams in areas including identifying your client, reporting wrongdoing and maintaining privilege.

The seminar will cover:

  • SRS Regulation
  • Guidance for in-house lawyers
  • Identifying your client
  • Conflicts
  • Privilege
