Never before has it been more important for social housing providers to ensure that their group legal structures enable them to derive the optimal use from their assets, whilst appropriately ringfencing risk away from social housing assets.
During this session we will discuss how organisations can ensure their group structures are future proofed in a way that meets their ongoing strategic goals, whilst complying with legal and regulatory requirements and expectations.
We will discuss:
- Structuring development and diversified activities and risks to avoid
- The potential to maximise asset use through the demerger of activity streams
- Legal and regulatory considerations, including charity law implications
- Procurement implications and drivers
- Optimising tax efficiencies
