During the last 18 months or so, it has felt as if the world of health and safety in the built environment has been all about life-critical building safety and the Building Safety Act, but the old chestnut of asbestos remains an important health and safety issue for those who own and manage properties.
In this webinar, specialists from our Health & Safety team will provide a helpful and practical update, including consideration of:
- The Duty to Manage under The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 – in particular, how the framework applies to non-domestic and domestic premises
- How asbestos dovetails with The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 – in particular, the activities that are reportable
- Reporting asbestos safety compliance under the new Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs), with a focus on the Tenant Satisfaction Measures FAQs that were published in September 2023
We hope you will join us for this event and share this invitation with colleagues who may be interested in the subject matter.
