Devonshires has promoted Kirsty Thompson to a partner in the firm’s employment and pensions team.
Kirsty has spent her entire legal career at Devonshires, joining the firm’s London office as a trainee in 2004.
Kirsty advises clients on all types of employment and HR matters with a particular specialism in pensions and Board-related governance matters for registered providers (RPs). Her expertise also includes advising on executive departures and providing strategic advice on TUPE and large-scale exercises to change terms and conditions.
Partner and head of the employment team, Ronnie Tong said: “This is a very well-deserved promotion which reflects the excellent work Kirsty delivers in complex situations to our clients’ management teams.

Devonshires employment and pensions team acts for more than 200 RPs, including some of the country’s largest housing associations.
