Following a successful tender in September 2017, London & Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) acquired a portfolio of 161 affordable and general needs properties in Berkshire from Sovereign Housing Association on 12 February 2018.
L&Q is one of the UK’s leading housing associations and owns or manages over 90,000 homes in London and the South East. The acquisition team at L&Q was led by Joyce Onono (Head of Asset Management), David Adesoye and Joanne Fox.
The team at Devonshires was headed by Aruna Sarwar, senior solicitor in the Real Estate & Projects department, with support from David Emery (solicitor in Real Estate and Projects) securitisation partners Chris Drabble and Saghar Roya and specialist housing management advice from solicitor Hetal Ruparelia.
