Applications are now open for organisations to become strategic partners of Homes England. Organisations that are interested in applying have until noon on 18 May 2021 to submit their proposal online.
The application process is open to not-for profit RPs (who can bid on a standalone basis or in conjunction with another not-for profit RP), for-profit RPs, developers and local authorities. Existing strategic partners can also apply to extend the term of their strategic partnership.

As with funding under the AHP 2021-26 Continuous Market Engagement route, funding under this programme will come with conditions that reflect the Government’s objectives and flagship policies. This includes the new right of shared ownership. With more information to follow on the new form of shared ownership lease there is a fair bit for organisations to consider with their boards.
