Going to court can be a stressful experience in a new environment for housing professionals whether representing their organisation or attending as a witness. The aim of this Webinar is to help attendees understand the best way to prepare cases for Court and what to expect on the day.

Speakers:

Rebecca Brady, Partner, Housing Management and Property Litigation.

Rebecca has an extremely wide and varied practice, accepting instructions from Local Authorities and Registered Providers on all aspects of leasehold and tenancy management.

Rebecca’s expertise in tenancy management includes possession claims, injunction applications, disrepair and housing conditions claims. Rebecca has successfully defended a number of disrepair claims at Trial, recovering the landlord’s legal costs from the tenant’s insurers. Rebecca has a particular interest in succession and unlawful occupation cases, including those involving trespassers.

Nina Dhadwal, Associate, Housing Management and Property Litigation

Nina assists with drafting and issuing anti-social behaviour injunctions, breach of tenancy injunctions, access injunctions, possession proceedings, unauthorised occupation issues and disrepair claims.

She has over 13 years of Advocacy experience attending possession claims, injunction claims and interlocutory applications in County Courts nationwide.
