Samantha advises Private Registered Providers and Local Authorities across a spectrum of matters affecting the social housing sector including Housing Management and has specialist knowledge of rent regulation.
Samantha was called to the Bar in October 2008 at the Inner Temple and cross-qualified as a solicitor in November 2010. She started her career at Devonshires Solicitors as a Paralegal and was invited to remain post-qualification due to her proven ability and great relationships with clients. Samantha was promoted to Partner in April 2022.
Sharon Thandi, Senior Associate, Banking, Governance and Corporate
Sharon specialises in corporate, governance and regulatory advice and primarily works with registered providers of social housing (RPs) on a variety of matters that range from incorporation and registration as RPs, through to dealing with regulatory intervention and partnership working with third parties.
Ellen Damlica, Senior Associate, Banking, Governance and Corporate
Ellen is a Senior Associate in our Banking, Governance and Corporate team. She primarily advises housing associations on a wide range of corporate and governance matters within both the housing and wider third sector. These matters vary from inception and registration of registered providers of social housing to advice on collaborative working.
Angela has worked in housing and regulatory management in both housing associations and local government, with direct experience of working within frontline housing management services and the corporate centre. She specialises in governance and strategy, board effectiveness, appraisal and remuneration, and general and performance management, including change management and investigative or regulatory recovery projects.
Diane Carney, Senior Consultant, DTP
Diane has considerable experience in social housing provision across a range of housing and property services with both housing association and local authority. She has expertise in consumer regulation, specialising in supporting housing organisations through compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing’s consumer standards. Diane also has considerable experience in rent compliance, cultural transformation and change management, business turnaround and staff engagement.
