Chris advises on all aspects of employment law, and his expertise covers a mixed caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Chris has extensive experience in defending all types of Employment Tribunal claim, with a particular emphasis on unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, TUPE and claims under the Equality Act 2010. Chris advises on all stages of the litigation process, and has carried out his own Employment Tribunal advocacy in both preliminary and full merits hearings.

Chris’ non-contentious work includes assisting with day-to-day employment issues and drafting and negotiating settlement agreements/consultancy agreements/ employment contracts. He particularly enjoys advising on TUPE and corporate restructures.

Prior to joining Devonshires, Chris spent a number of years advising recruitment companies on all aspects of the supply of agency workers and limited company contractors. Including managing contractual arrangements, IR35, and TUPE transfers in complex supply chain models.
