This session will look at the redundancy process and how to avoid the common pitfalls that can result in Employment Tribunal claims.

Chris Cuckney, Solicitor, Devonshires
Chris qualified as a Solicitor in 2018, and his work covers a mixed caseload of both contentious and non-contentious matters. His litigation experience includes defending all manner of Employment Tribunal claims, with a particular emphasis on unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, TUPE and claims under the Equality Act 2010.
Chris has extensive experience in all aspects of the Employment Tribunal process, from providing advice during the initial Acas Conciliation right the way through to undertaking his own advocacy in the Tribunal.
Llewellyn Perkins, Solicitor, Devonshires
Llewellyn’s main areas of expertise include assisting with Settlement Agreements, Employment Tribunal Claims and drafting Employment Contracts and Policies.
Llewellyn was a Paralegal in our Development Sales Team before securing his training contract with Devonshires. He then worked in Sydney at a national Australian law firm as a Conveyancing Paralegal between the end of his Paralegal role with us and the start of his Training Contract. Llewellyn worked with the Real Estate & Projects team during his first two seats of his training contract, the Housing Management and Property Litigation team for his third seat and the Employment Team for his final seat.
