Areas of Expertise

James is a Trainee Solicitor in our Real Estate & Projects team, where he assists the team in a wide range of varied commercial and residential transactions.

In July 2022 James attained a post-graduate diploma in Legal Practice after completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London (Bloomsbury) with Commendation.

In July 2023 James attained a Master’s Degree in Legal Practice (LLM) at the University of Law, London (Bloomsbury).


Experience

James joined Devonshires on 15 November 2021 to work in the Housing Management & Property Litigation team, where he routinely accepted instructions in housing litigation cases across a broad spectrum of housing and property litigation claims.

Before joining Devonshires, James worked as a Litigation Paralegal in an award winning North London law firm (ranked Tier 2 in Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners) from 2017 – 2021 acting across a variety of practice areas including: housing; community care; and public and administrative law.

James worked as a Housing Paralegal in a North London Firm based in Finchley from 2016 – 2017.


Education

James attained an LLM from the University of Law, London (Bloomsbury) in July 2023.

James attained commendation in his LPC from the University of Law, London (Bloomsbury) in July 2022.

James attained an upper second class degree from Queen Mary University Of London in 2016.


Personal

In his spare time James likes to read, play guitar, weightlift and going on hikes with friends.

James has been playing guitar since he was around 12 years old and whenever he is not playing the instrument he likes attending concerts to see his favourite bands perform.
