Luke assisted Hexagon Housing Association with the issue of their £250m sustainability bonds. Luke’s role in this transaction included negotiating transaction documents, drafting disclosures and working closely with the client and our Property team to tie together the completion of the Banking and Property elements.

Luke assisted Housing Solutions with their refinancing, which included the issue of notes through a private placement, a new facility agreement and the renegotiation of an existing loan. Luke’s role was to draft the private placement documentation, negotiate the new and refinanced loan documents and co-ordinate with other solicitors and financial advisors to ensure the smooth running of the transaction.

Luke was part of the wider Banking team that worked on the amalgamation of Optivo and Southern Housing Group to form Southern Housing. Luke’s role was to negotiate the consent documentation and to negotiate, draft and assist with the refinancing and restructuring of the existing loans of both original entities.
