Donna McCarthy and Lee Russell of Devonshires Solicitors will facilitate this breakfast briefing and update. This is a must for landlords to ensure they are prepared for the full implementation of the Act to existing periodic tenancies on 20 March 2020.
The briefing will focus on the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018 which requires landlords to ensure a property is fit for human habitation.
The changes were introduced on 20 March 2019 for new tenancies and existing tenancies will be effected from the 20 March 2020. It is expected that the changes will have much wider effect after this date.

The session will be of particular use for those who are involved with repairs, maintenance and those involved in associated legal claims.
