Summer is fast approaching, and whilst the usual efforts of fundraising for our partner charities have been disrupted, we decided to make the most of staying at home by taking our fundraising virtual.
With many of us now working from home, several of us are trying our hand, and green thumbs, at gardening! So with the Chelsea Flower show cancelled and our usual CSR fundraising options limited for the time being, we decided to host a Virtual Flower Show to help our charities in these difficult and uncertain times.
Between Monday 18th May and Friday 22nd May, staff donated and submitted pictures of their efforts to one of the below categories, and voted on entries.
- Best House Plant
- Best Front Garden
- Best Back Garden
- Best Vegetable Patch
We managed to raise an impressive total of £265 for our four partner charities: Friends of the Elderly, St. George’s Crypt, SkyWay and The Spitz.
We would like to extend a big thank you to all of those who donated and took part in this fundraising challenge. In these uncertain times, it is important that we still continue to undertake our CSR duties any way that we can.
